Luke Shaw to have a second surgery after suffering a double fracture of his right leg on Tuesday night Champions League football

Manchester United full back, Luke Shaw suffered a double fracture on his right leg on Tuesday night while playing against PSV Eindhoven in Holland. He had a surgery on Wednesday will have another operation on his shattered right leg in on Friday.
Shaw was rushed to St Anna Ziekenhuis on the outskirts of Eindhoven on Tuesday night after breaking his lower leg in two places during United's 2-1 defeat to PSV in the Champions League.




He was attended to by two orthopedic surgeons and a trauma specialist who conducted an operation on his right leg and the young left-back was told to expect a short stay in Holland before being allowed home to continue his recovery. It is now understood that Shaw will  have a second operation at the Dutch hospital.


However it is understood that given the severity of his injury, Shaw's condition continues to be deemed satisfactory though he may likely be out for a minimum of six months.Van Gaal was hopeful after the match, saying: 'I am not a doctor so I cannot say that, but when you have a double fracture it is I think until six months.

I hope he recovers on time. This young lad has been plagued with injuries in his very short career. Get well Shaw!
